Sweeny Independent School District

Sweeny Independent School District is a public school district based in Sweeny, Texas (USA). The district is approximately 177.3 square miles (459 km²) and serves the City of Sweeny and surrounding area. The mascot of the High School is the Bulldog, the mascot of the Junior High is the Friskie.^[1]

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.^[2]
